I love great photos that transport you to the time and place the photographer was conveying. With an old manual camera from the late 70's I started taking photos of friends and family, but was discouraged about the technology and cost. When I got my first digital things really took off. The drive to get the photo that transports you to that time, that place, and that feeling is what keeps me looking for the next great moment in time to capture.
